The sections are further divided into 2 Modules (each Module containing the same number of Questions). Each Section carries 20 Points. The Total Score ranges from 100 – 200.

What are the options for preparation?

Avoid using GMAT material for EA Test Preparation as there are perceptible differences between questions given in both papers. For instance, the EA Test does not have geometry questions, which are present in the GMAT. EA Test study material is available, and should be chosen after consideration of the test taker’s unique needs. One can talk to peers who are preparing for / have attempted the EA Test. Alternatively, counsellors can help with deciding the correct study plan for the test taker as per their schedule, strengths, weaknesses and goals. It is while keeping these unique needs in mind that “The GMAT Coach” offers Personalized Prep Courses to EA Test Takers.

What should you expect on the day of the test?

You will be required to report to the test centre at least 30 Minutes prior to the scheduled test time. If you have opted for an online test, logging in 15 Minutes before the test starts will be required.

  • At the Time of the Test: You need an identity card (any accepted form of identification like passport or driver’s license) for the check-in process. The GMAC Website should be checked to get an understanding of all the rules. Study material, mobile phones, calculators, food etc cannot be carried. A note-taking board with a marker will be provided by the proctor.
  • After the Test: For the online test, you will receive your EA score within a week of giving the test. For the in-person exam, you will receive your EA score immediately after finishing the exam. You will also be given a printout of your EA scores when you leave the centre after completing your exam.
